Early pregnancy scanning

Early pregnancy scans can be performed from as early as 6 weeks gestation. They will confirm viability, number of babies present, location of the pregnancy and will offer reassurance for patients with previous pregnancy problems or recurrent bleeding.

First trimester screening

There are a number of private Down’s syndrome screening tests available ranging from ultrasound screening alone, combined screening using ultrasound, nasal bone and four-marker biochemistry to Non Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT).

Fetal medicine anomaly scans

Fetal medicine detailed anomaly scans for either patients wishing to have a second opinion or patients requesting a detailed anomaly scan performed by a Fetal medicine expert.

Third trimester scanning

Ultrasound in the third trimester allows confirmation of normal fetal growth as well as placental function including liquor volume and Doppler assessment.

Multiple pregnancy scans
